TIBBETS, Keith
Age 88, peacefully passed on March 24, 2013, with his family by his side in Carmichael, California. He was born December 17, 1924 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
After serving proudly in the US Army during WWII, Keith returned to Southern California to attend University of Southern California. Upon graduating he joined Traveler's Insurance Company where he met his lovely wife, Helen. They married in 1952 and together they raised two daughters, Gwen and Tracy.
Upon retiring from a successful career at Traveler's in 1985, Keith filled his days with his favorite hobbies, fishing, woodworking, rug hooking, reading, cooking, and following USC football. After his wife Helen passed in 2001, he stayed busy with the VFW, Pulmo Pals, and the Widowers Club. Keith was able to maintain an independent and active lifestyle right up to his last few days.
